A vineyard wedding in Tuscany is in the wish list of many couples. The iconic backdrop of the Tuscan rolling hills with rows of grapes outlining their profile is among the most sought-after ones.

This is one of the reasons why I am in love with the Estate of Petroio.

Think about lush greenery, quiet atmosphere, breathtaking views, and country-inspired yet sophisticated rooms with all the comforts. Done? Ok, welcome to Petroio! This venue is an authentic gem in the heart of the Chianti region, at few km from the stunning Florence.

I have the privilege to be one of the Wedding Planners recommended by Edoardo Robiglio, the owner of Petroio, and I couldn’t be prouder of the trust earned after many years of partnership with him.

Among the weddings we had the pleasure to work at together at his venue, Lauren and John made the most of the stunning landscape that Petroio offers. Not only was I their Wedding Planner, but I also was their officiant and – believe me – solemnizing their romantic ceremony in the spectacular vineyards of this exclusive venue in the Chianti region is still one of the best memories I have.

But let’s go in order as I wanna show you all the details of this beautiful day!

First off, Lauren got ready with her Mom and sister. They spent some nice time together, in a very relaxed atmosphere.

Just before the ceremony, the bride and groom had their first look in the back courtyard of the main house in order to hide themselves from the other guests and enjoy some very private moments on their own.

Lauren’s father proudly walked her along the aisle and that was one of the most moving parts of this vineyard wedding in Tuscany!

An intimate ceremony took place under the typical warm Tuscan sun in a scenery where the abundance of nature and light made the perfect day to get married.

As you can see, the delicate pastel color palette Lauren and John picked up for the decor was the ideal complement to the surrounding vines and perfectly matched the olive branch decorations of chairs in a balanced combination of natural elements. The rustic wine barrels, incorporated in the ceremony area in the place of a more traditional and common arch, kept the flowers from blending with the vineyard colors.

As a result, this vineyard wedding in Tuscany was a real success in a refined and authentic scenery, where two wonderful souls declared their love surrounded by their beloved ones.

The couple shooting was one of a kind, and you can judge from the photos. This is Tuscany! This is the magic of the Estate of Petroio!

If you are curious about the wedding menu, drop me a line and I will be more than happy to send you Edoardo’s proposals based on your needs. In this post, I can’t reveal all the Petroio Chef’s secrets! 😉

After the ceremony, the al fresco dinner took place in the courtyard in front of the villa. The long table was decorated with candlesticks and an elegant flower runner. Over it, suspended string lights created a cozy space when the sun went down.

Each guest had their own printed menu, embellished with a cute olive sprig, and each chair was adorned with olive branches and lisianthus.  The party with DJ-set took place by the pool, which was enlightened with colorful lights. Everybody had SO much fun, including Edoardo and me, who always celebrate with a good glass of wine when we see the bride and groom happy! More than two years have passed, and yet I still feel so blessed to have taken part in this beautiful vineyard wedding in Tuscany, where two noble souls declared their love to each other under the Italian sun in one of the most beautiful venues I know!
